My Approach

I offer a warm and supportive environment for children, adolescents and adults to achieve personal and relational goals. My services include individual psychotherapy and family therapy in both English and Spanish.

My belief is that healing and behavioral changes occur by way of focused exploration of the past in order to increase awareness about present patterns. I strongly value the influences of culture, tradition, and context on individuals and families. As such, I openly welcome the integration of various healing practices as well as evidence-based techniques within the therapeutic process. Through individual and family modalities, my approach is compassionate, collaborative and competence-based.

My clinical background in medical, correctional, community-based and educational settings, has involved work with children and adolescents facing challenges such as behavioral problems, depression, anxiety, trauma, grief and loss, and other life transitions.
