Relational Group Therapy
Relational Group Psychotherapy for men and women is a weekly psychotherapy group which promotes the growth of the self and the growth of one’s ability to have connected, healthy, and satisfying relationships. Members work on emotional awareness and understanding of self and others and self assertion, and they learn how to express disagreement and differences while continuing to maintain their connection to others. The capacity to stay connected to others, when there are differences and disagreements, creates the opportunity to have fulfilling and meaningful relationships. Members also learn about themselves through becoming aware of how they are experienced by others.
The group meets on Wednesday evenings from 6:15 – 7:30 PM. Interested individuals please call Mary Jean Kane, LCSW at 703-550-4298 for further information.
